Label the specimens with the patient’s full name, date of birth, date and time of collection, and the initials of the phlebotomist.

Unacceptable Condition:

Avoid hemolysis.

Reflex Test :

If Syphilis Antibody is reactive or equivocal, samples are forwarded to Chemistry for RPR testing and subsequent titer, if appropriate.
A negative RPR will reflex to Treponemal Antibodies (TPPA).

All reactive Hepatitis C Antibody tests will automatically reflex to Hepatitis C PCR.
