Fees Charged for Saint Luke’s Health System (SLHS) IRB Review of Protocols:

• Initial Review (Full Board): $3,500
• Initial Review (Expedited/Exempt): $1,750
• Continuing Review (Full Board): $1,750
  + Amendment: $3,500
• Continuing Review (Expedited): $1,500
  + Amendment: $2,250
• Amendment (Full Board): $1,750
• Amendment (Expedited): $750
• Study Closure: $1,500

Administrative Fees Charged for SLHS IRB Review of External Protocols:

• Initial Review: $1,750
  *No charge for continuing reviews

Saint Luke’s Health System has the flexibility to develop a fee for administrative review of protocols reviewed by an external IRB for institutional systems and procedures, including review of staff credentialing, conflict of interest, auxiliary reviews or other appropriate methods. Exceptions may apply. 

Fees Waived for SLHS IRB Review:

• Expanded Access
• Humanitarian Use Device (HUD)
• Nursing, Pharmacy or Resident/Fellow Protocol as part of an accredited Education Program
