FOX4: Specialized Asleep DBS Procedure Eliminates Tremors for One Local Man with Parkinson's

An Olathe man living with Parkinson's Disease is no longer dealing with the many challenges of performing day-to-day activities with tremors following a specialized procedure at Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute. 

FOX4 followed Brian over the weeks-long life-changing process from beginning to end. 

"I just felt if I could get rid of some of these tremors or some of these other—if it helps me walk better, if it helps me smile—if I can get back some of these things for a least a little while, I think I'd give it a shot," Brian said.
