February is Heart Month to raise awareness for the number one killer of men and women in the United States—heart disease.
Heart disease claims more women's lives each year than all cancers combined, yet it is 95% preventable. For 26 years, Saint Luke's Muriel I. Kauffman Women's Heart Center has been leading the way in treating women's heart health.
Dr. Tracy Stevens, Saint Luke's cardiologist and medical director of the Women's Heart Center, shares what steps women can take to significantly reduce their risk on Better Kansas City.
