KSHB: KC doctors cautiously optimistic about possible COVID-19 drug treatment

A new drug that could be the first step toward a potential COVID-19 treatment, called remdesivir, is showing promising results in clinical trials.

KSHB talked to Dr. Sarah Boyd, Saint Luke's Health System Medical Director for Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infectious Disease Evidence-Based Practice Team Chair, and other doctors across the metro about the potential treatment.
