Washington Post: For nursing home patients, COVID-19 means isolation, grief and hope
Nursing homes and assisted-living facilities are home to many among the highest risk population for COVID-19.
The Washington Post talked to 12 residents from across the country to share what life has been like since the pandemic began, including Saint Luke's Bishop Spencer Place residents David and Joan Zoller.
"We feel really, really safe here," Joan said. "I don't know about him, but I intend to live this out. I am getting used to staying here and find enough to do. I had a to-do list and I had to stop two or three of them because of making masks. I have plenty to do."
