KMBC: Front-line nurse says getting COVID-19 vaccine an emotional moment for her
Saint Luke's held the first COVID vaccine marathon for employees at multiple campuses Thursday. By Friday, 1,000 front-line workers there should have their first dose of the vaccine.
Carrie Willis, nurse manager of the COVID unit at Saint Luke's East Hospital, was one of the first to receive the vaccination.
KMBC talked to Willis about the emotional moment and what it means to front-line workers.
