KSHB: Kansas City-area doctors say pregnant women can get COVID-19 vaccine
Doctors are encouraging pregnant women to talk to their doctor about getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
Mary Williams, a nurse at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City, got the vaccine when she was 16 weeks along to protect herself and her baby.
KSHB talked to Williams and Dr. David Streitman with Saint Luke's Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists about how the vaccines have shown to be safe in expectant mothers.
