Allen County Regional Hospital—Iola Clinic Moves to Medical Arts Building

IOLA, KS – Allen County Regional Hospital announces the move of their Iola Clinic to the newly renovated Medical Arts Building located at 826 E. Madison Avenue in Iola. The clinic opened its doors to patients at the new location on Monday morning.

“I’m pretty excited to have a new up-to-date and more functional space to work in, and I know that the other providers and clinic staff are as well,” shared Brian Neely, MD. “The Medical Arts Building is more centrally located and puts us closer to the hospital, the schools, and other services, which is nice for our patients.”

The Iola Clinic occupies the north end of the Medical Arts Building. The new space includes a spacious patient check-in and waiting area, updated exam rooms, provider offices, and a new laboratory. Exterior updates, which include rebuilding the overhang, paint and repairs to the façade, and a new parking lot, are nearly complete. Additional parking is available in the lot across Madison Street to the south of the building.

The Iola Clinic move coincides with Allen County Regional Hospital’s transition to Epic, the electronic medical records (EMR) platform used in all other clinics and hospitals across Saint Luke’s Health System. Making the platform transition and physical move all at once provided technical efficiencies but demanded hard construction deadlines.

“I just want to thank everyone who made this building renovation and move possible,” said new Allen County Regional Hospital Administrator Jeremy Armstrong. “It took a lot of work from numerous people for this to all come together so quickly and successfully.”
