KMBC: Carbon Monoxide Leaks More Common With Changes in the Weather

Doctors and fire departments are urging people to watch out for the warning signs of carbon monoxide poisoning when turning on the heat for the first time this fall.

This comes after several students and adults were hospitalized following a CO leak at a Kansas City elementary school Wednesday.

KMBC talked to Dr. Todd Fristo at Saint Luke's Primary Care—Independence about how these leaks are more common with changes in the weather.
