KMBZ: Black and Hispanic Adults Less Likely to Get Bystander CPR
If you have a heart attack in public, you are less likely to get CPR from a bystander based on your race or ethnicity, according to a new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
KMBZ talked to Dr. Paul Chan, senior author of the study and cardiologist at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, about the study's findings and recommendations to reduce racial and ethnic disparities.
