Allen County Regional Hospital – Iola Clinic Welcomes Samuel Wilcox, MD
Allen County Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome family medicine physician Samuel Wilcox, MD, to the medical team at the Iola Clinic. Dr. Wilcox cares for patients of all ages and has special interests in sports medicine, diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries, obesity medicine, and overall community health.
Dr. Wilcox earned a master’s degree in kinesiology from Kansas State University before going on to earn his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas. He recently completed his training in residency at Northwest Washington Family Medicine Residency in Bremerton, Washington.
"I'm happy to be here in Iola," Dr. Wilcox said. "My wife and I both grew up in Kansas and were ready to move back home. We chose Allen County not only to be near family but because it's evident that health and wellness are prioritized in the community. We wanted to be a part of that."
Dr. Wilcox and his wife, Elizabeth, have a young son. In his spare time, Dr. Wilcox enjoys listening to audiobooks, spending time with his family, and staying active.
