KSHB: 'I'm a Miracle Walking': Kansas City Woman Recovering After Suffering Rare Stroke While on Zoom Call
The Saint Luke’s Hospital Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit was full of smiles and hugs Wednesday afternoon as one of the care team’s former patients visited the nurses who took care of her for months.
Stacee Cassidy, 48, was on a Zoom with leaders from her Washington D.C.-based church group when she suffered a hemorrhagic stroke.
KSHB talked to Dr. Yifei Duan, a cerebrovascular neurosurgeon at Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute, about what caused Stacee's stroke and how it was treated.
