Allen County Regional Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Applications Due by July 31 for the Upcoming Fall Semester

The Allen County Regional Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce the continuation of the scholarship program for area students pursuing a certification or degree in a health-related field.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must be accepted for admission in a health-related field of study at a two- or four-year college, university, or technical school. Preference will be given to applicants who live in Allen County, graduated from an Allen County high school, are employed by Allen County Regional Hospital, or are a child/grandchild of a hospital employee.

Applicants are required to complete the application form and include two letters of reference. The Auxiliary Scholarship Committee will review applications. We are pleased to announce that the Auxiliary members recently voted to increase the number of scholarships offered each year, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the education of future healthcare professionals. Up to four (4) individual scholarships of $500 each will be awarded per semester. Recipients are encouraged to reapply for an additional scholarship in the following semester and can receive up to two (2) lifetime awards for a total of $1,000.

Applications must be received or postmarked by July 31, 2024, to be considered for the upcoming fall semester. Applications for the spring 2025 semester will be due October 31, 2024.
