KMBC: Therapy Poodle Brings Comfort to Hospice Patients at Saint Luke's Hospice House
Saint Luke’s Hospice House volunteers provide comfort, music, and support to patients and their families.
Four-legged friends provide a special kind of comfort through our DOC (Dogs on Call) program. A trained service animal comes into the Hospice House to comfort patients and families and even bring them some joy during a difficult time.
Louie Pancake's owner, Frank, and the Community Events Coordinator at Saint Luke’s Hospice House talk with KMBC about the special program.
