FOX4: Health Experts Say Not to Panic as Dozens in KCK Treated for Tuberculosis

Nearly 50 patients in Wyandotte County are being treated for tuberculosis. 

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reports another seven cases in Johnson County. The total of patients in Wyandotte County is more than public health officials reported in all of 2023.

FOX4 talked to Ginny Boos, PhD, director of infection prevention at Saint Luke's, about how the disease spreads and why the general public should not panic.
