Comprehensive support from cancer experts

Patient care navigators guide patients through the cancer experience. They are available to assist all newly diagnosed patients and act as a consistent resource to patients and their families.

Genetic counselors, who are certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling, meet with patients to evaluate family history, identify genetic risk factors, and discuss genetic testing.

Registered dietitians have special expertise in the nutritional needs of patients with cancer. Good nutrition is the foundation for good health during cancer treatment and can decrease the risk of cancer recurrence or new development.

Rehabilitation therapists help patients with the full range of physical symptoms of cancer and side effects of treatment. Our team includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists and certified lymphedema therapists.

Social workers connect patients with resources to help with issues that arise with cancer treatment such as financial, insurance, transportation, and caregiver support.

Psychologists are skilled at helping patients manage stress, especially during transition points on the cancer journey. They can address common challenges such as anxiety, depression, and sleep problems. Our psychologists can help address issues or concerns about sexual health. They can also help you adopt lifestyle changes, such as smoking cessation, to minimize the impact of the disease and may help reduce the chance of recurrence.
