FOX4: COVID-19 vaccine causing side effect that can be mistaken as breast cancer
After getting the COVID-19 vaccine, some women are noticing swollen lymph nodes, which can be mistaken as breast cancer.
Like many women, 31-year-old Ciara Tate went into a panic after the symptom showed up on scans following her booster shot in January.
FOX4 talked to Tate and Dr. Mary Mitchell, an interpreting breast radiologist, about why it's a normal immune response and should not deter anyone from getting the vaccine.
