Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola delivers high-quality health care to Allen County, Kansas, and surrounding communities. The Joint-Commission-accredited hospital opened a new, state-of-the-art facility in 2014.
The critical access hospital offers comprehensive care, including a 24-hour Level 4 trauma center with helipad, hospitalist program, advanced imaging, 3-D mammography, inpatient and outpatient surgery, skilled nursing (swing bed), rehabilitation services, an expanded specialty clinic, and primary care offices nearby.
Board-certified emergency medicine physicians treat patients in the Emergency Department at Allen County Regional Hospital. Patients also benefit from lifesaving heart and stroke protocols developed by the world-renowned Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute and Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute.

Smoking Policy
All Saint Luke’s Health System locations are smoke-free environments—inside and outside. The use of tobacco, marijuana, electronic cigarettes, and vapes is prohibited in all buildings, parking garages, and surrounding grounds of our hospitals and facilities.

The hospital cafeteria offers hot meals, salad bar, snacks, and complimentary tea and coffee.

Sending mail/flowers
To ensure prompt delivery, mail and flowers should be addressed using the patient’s full name and room number.
Auxiliary
Allen County Regional Hospital Auxiliary offers volunteer services and opportunities for community members to give back through fundraisers, scholarships, events, and support for patients, visitors, and staff. All are welcome to join.
Gift shop
Auxiliary volunteers operate the hospital’s gift shop, offering snacks and a variety of unique gift items Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. To reach the gift shop, call 620-365-1258.
Spiritual wellness
The always-open chapel is located near the emergency department. A volunteer chaplain is available to provide spiritual support for patients and families. Please ask any team member for assistance.
