Health News You Can Use: Hypertension Awareness for Younger Women

Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is usually more prevalent as you age. However, according to the American Heart Association, nearly 20% of women of childbearing age have hypertension. 

This week, we’re talking to Dr. Valerie Rader, cardiologist at Saint Luke’s Muriel I. Kauffman Women's Heart Center, about hypertension in younger women and the importance of knowing and staying on top of your blood pressure.
