FOX4: Saint Luke's Patient Living with Rare Cancer Starts Foundation to Help Others
A Spring Hill man continues his lengthy fight against a rare and aggressive cancer, thymic carcinoma, while encouraging others to have hope.
In 2013, Michael Delaney was given 12 months to live. After participating in a clinical trial, Michael found his way to Saint Luke's Center for Precision Oncology, where he was able to continue his Keytruda immunotherapy treatments.
Now, more than 10 years later, he’s helping other people with the same rare cancer to hold on to hope. He started a foundation, Thymic Carcinoma Center, to support patients through information and financial assistance.
