Anderson County Hospital Auxiliary

As a part of the Anderson County Hospital Auxiliary, you’ll experience a welcoming environment with the opportunity to volunteer in ways that complement your interests and skills.

Our volunteers:

  • Assist patients and staff from the hospitality desk in the main lobby
  • Participate in activities and games with our Residential Living Center residents
  • Provide hand-sewn items that support patient and resident care
  • Offer scholarships for area students
  • Host fundraising and other special events throughout the year.

In addition to the satisfaction that comes with serving others, volunteers are invited to enjoy a free meal in the hospital café during a scheduled on-site shift.

We would not be the hospital we are today without the efforts of our wonderful volunteers.

If you're interested in being a part of our Auxiliary and volunteering at Anderson County Hospital or the Residential Living Center, please complete the contact form or call 620-365-1021.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and should be dependable and friendly with flexible schedules.

Saint Luke's requires a tuberculosis blood test and an influenza vaccination (current flu season), both of which will be provided at no cost to the volunteer.
